VANITY reawaken rock music with ambitious operatic grandeur, golden age gothic tension, and flashes of cheeky burlesque, assuring your ears, eyes, and mind will stay open until the curtain falls. The Los Angeles creative triumvirate—Billy Titko, Wayde Crawford, and Justin Scott—have quietly engendered cult-like fascination from a growing fanbase with their signature dark cabaret sound and big screen-worthy visuals. Born in Ohio as the youngest of three children, Billy grew up in a tiny Midwest town. Obsessed with music, this “theater kid” appeared in countless school productions. Her family relocated to Portland, OR where she continued to act in school plays. Realizing she “wanted to be a rockstar,” she took vocal lessons for years and cut her teeth by performing countless gigs with Wayde and Justin in tow. Over time, her vision for VANITY naturally crystallized under the influence of Hammer Horror flicks, Liza Minnelli, Cabaret, The Black Parade, and weekly midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. During 2024, the band relocated to Los Angeles. Right away, she dove headfirst into penning a rock opera of her own. She found the perfect collaborators—BRASKO [YUNGBLUD, Willow, Rina Sawayama] and Lucky West [The Griswolds, Dreamers]—and she personally co-wrote every song. In 2026, VANITY officially materialized with Billy at the helm and Wayde and Justin alongside her. The band’s presence grew online thanks to a series of elevated and enigmatic posts, serving up a double shot of their music and aesthetic. These snippets caught the attention of Columbia Records who signed the trio in partnership with Travis Barker’s DTA Records. Now, VANITY invite everyone into the embrace of their one-of-a-kind spectacle, unlocking the gates with a series of singles starting with “(T)OUCH.”
