SUNSHINE’s future unfolds with the same radiant light that her name inherits. Hailing from a small town in Illinois called Pontiac, the internet’s newly-chosen It-girl is building a career with a gritty, no-nonsense attitude. Anchored by her bubbly personality and a larger-than-life mindset, SUNSHINE always believed she was destined for more, even before she had the platform to prove it.

Originally starting as a poet, SUNSHINE filled journals with thoughts, dreams, and affirmations, many of which would later evolve into the bold, self-assured lyrics she delivers today. Naturally drawn to hip-hop from a young age, she found inspiration in a range of trailblazing female rappers, including Foxy Brown, as well as icons like Janis Joplin and Lauryn Hill, channeling their fearless energy into a style that’s both playful and commanding. Her music, which she’s been crafting for the past four years, blends sharp lyricism with an unmistakable sense of self.

Before stepping fully into her artistry, SUNSHINE worked at a local dispensary in her hometown. She first turned heads with “Trump The Bill,” a song she wrote while on the clock at work. The song blew up, and so did SUNSHINE’s realization that music was a real path. The viral track took on a life of its own – leading to an early co-sign from Charli xcx, an explosive remix with fellow riser Trim, and a brand partnership with Coach.

It’s no wonder how SUNSHINE has swiftly become a TikTok darling, and has racked up millions of impressions on the platform: her songs are more like anthems. She turns everyday moments into creative fuel, with her rhymes doubling as manifestations of the life she’s building in real time.

Dubbed “Chicago’s Miss Galliano” and quickly emerging as one of rap’s most exciting new voices, SUNSHINE is carving out a lane that’s entirely her own. With her first festival performance at Lollapalooza on the horizon, SUNSHINE isn’t just stepping into the spotlight – she’s owning it. Fueled by confidence, intention, and an unshakable belief in her path, she’s here to inspire others to find that same power within themselves. And this is only the beginning.
