Emerging from the U.S. trap capital of Atlanta, Lil Gotit has swiftly risen to prominence since the late 2010s. Known for his unique vocal style influenced by his mentor, Young Thug, Lil Gotit has garnered support from notable artists such as Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna. Born Semaja Z. Render, Lil Gotit was raised in Atlanta’s southside and started his music career early alongside his brother, rapper Lil Keed. Their early collaboration, “Trap Bunkin,” became an Atlanta club favorite, setting the stage for Gotit’s future success.
After being kicked out of high school, Gotit committed to music full-time, releasing his debut mixtape, “Super Squid,” in 2017. His official debut album, “Hood Baby,” dropped in 2018, featuring collaborations with Lil Keed and HoodRich Pablo Juan. Gotit continued to build momentum with his 2019 album “Crazy But It’s True,” which included the hit single “Da Real Hoodbabies.”
The recently released “Shut The Door, Nobody Listening” features notable collaborations with Young Thug, the late Lil Keed, and Mariah The Scientist. This album marks a significant milestone in Lil Gotit’s career, showcasing his growth and dedication to his craft.
