Emerging from the Inland Empire’s growing heavy music scene, Grounds for Assault is an aggressive American beatdown/death metal band established in 2023. Their sound is described as an uncompromising wall of “Murder Muzik StreetSludge BrutalBeatdownDeath” and operate under the keep-it-sucka-free (K.I.S.F.) ethos. Blending many sounds and inspirations such as Memphis sigil rap, powerviolence, and slamming beatdown, the trio brings an unrelenting fresh sound to the soundscape of distortion.
