COMMAND

Bio

Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Command; a young, promising talent, grew immersed in the vibrant culture. His sound can best be described as experimental R&B/retro blues with an ingenious rock influence. Picture a funky, cohesive blend between Tame Impala & Toro y Moi with a Dev Hynes-esque flair. 2015 marked the official start to Command’s ever growing journey as a musical artist.

In 2013, Command started producing, often emulating artists he admired, influences such as, Amy Winehouse, Outkast, Kanye West, Toro y Moi, Isaac Hayes, Daft Punk, and many more. Command plays the guitar, small synthesizer, bass, keyboard, drums, and recorder. Combining his new interest in writing with his production led to his first cohesive project, Watermouth.

His latest ‘MATH-EP’ project provides an introspective lens into Command’s emotions as an artist at the time. Not only is it genuine  display of his perspective, but it shows the tumultuous creative process he’s embarked on.

Throughout Command’s relatively young music career, he has already had many noteworthy accomplishments. His music has been featured on both Hypetrak and Pigeons & Planes. He has opened for Earl Sweatshirt. The beauty in all of this lies in the fact that he’s only getting started.
