SUGAR VIRUS was formed in February of 1992 as “THE FIENDS” (a horror punk band) but over the years transformed into a heavy more doomy, metal band that became SUGAR VIRUS.

Throughout the years, the band members have come and gone but the music has stayed true to its roots in Horror punk and has evolved into a more heavier version of itself. Branching out into Doom Metal, Hardcore and Melodic thrash metal.

The vocalist and founder “Jason Virus”, belts out a voice which crosses the vocal range of Elvis Presley, a 70’s era Glenn Danzig and can scream like Billy Milano.

11 independent albums and 2 full length releases with a vinyl release for their second album “Wolf’s Breath” to be released Halloween of 2018.
