As graduates of a nationally recognized high school music program, the members of Picture Perfect Skylines (PPS) developed exceptional ensemble performance skills. Now as young men (ages 20-24), they are leveraging their scholastic competition experience to fuse the excitement and undisciplined energy of punk music with the military precision and tightness of a world-class drum-line.
Despite memorable choruses that are as catchy as those in top 40 tunes, the songs of Picture Perfect Skylines are embedded with deep and dark meaning – especially if no deep or dark meaning is the meaning.
By using progressive harmonies and rhythms to highlight the poetic quality of their lyrics along with thumping drums, crunching guitar chords and sick bass lines to drive the energy forward, Picture Perfect Skylines delivers an aesthetic experience that is musically mature yet true to the raw emotions of punk.
