Lø Spirit
Bio
Originally from New Orleans and now based in Los Angeles, the artist known as ‘Lø Spirit’ began as a therapeutic endeavor for songwriter and producer Joshua Landry back in 2022. With over a decade of experience in songwriting and production, he initially garnered notoriety by sharing covers on TikTok in 2021 under the moniker ‘SadSongsOnly.’ His renditions of tracks like MCR’s “Helena,” Highly Suspect’s “My Name is Human,” and Missio’s “I See You” quickly gained traction, showcasing his talent through unique interpretations of these songs.
Following the release of his original songs such as “Mind of Mine” and “Good Enough,” it became evident that Lø’s narrative struck a chord with audiences, resonating deeply. As a survivor of trauma grappling with conditions like OCD, PTSD, and anxiety, Lø Spirit aims to leverage his platform as a means of healing, navigating through his personal struggles and, in doing so, offering solace to others who may be experiencing similar challenges.
Embarking on his first tour this Spring, Lø Spirit will headline his own shows across the US, in addition to supporting The Struts and making his debut at festivals like Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville in May 2024. With the year still in its infancy, the trajectory for Lø Spirit appears promising, with continued growth and impact anticipated on the horizon.
