Lamar aka Iamlamarmusic is an independent American singer/songwriter based out of Charlotte, NC . Growing up in rural South Carolina Lamar found refuge in his music with the sounds of classic 90s R&B artists to Genre bending artists such as Dawn Richard and band “Little dragon”.

Gaining critical acclaim from his debut single ” Moonlight ” released in 2022 , “You Are Loved” Lamar’s critically acclaimed debut Album released in 2023 , pays homage to  classic R&B melodies with the pop/dance grooves he grew up with. Lamar recently has been featured as a mainstage artist for the Blumenthal Presents: Charlotte Arts Festival, Charlotte Music Video Awards, Sugar Bash, Charlotte Black Pride.
