In 2015, First One Dies started as a solo project, but it quickly grew into a powerhouse group in 2017, with Ray Hunter on lead/rhythm guitar and vocals, Johnathon McGiboney (Johno) on bass, Abiden Perry on drums, Joshua Combs (Brushy) on guitar, and Christian Guerra (Meatball) as the lead vocalist.

Together, they created the EP “Traditions,” setting the stage for First One Dies’ meteoric rise. Fast forward to 2020, when the band began crafting their debut album, “Kingslayer,” and welcomed new members: Brandyn Soto (Yosemite Sam) as lead vocalist, Noah Ruhkamp (2Tall) on lead/rhythm guitar in 2021, and Tanner Gross (Big Bird) on drums in 2023.

The long-awaited release of “Kingslayer” in 2024 propelled First One Dies to stardom, amassing a dedicated following and solidifying their presence in the industry.

Throughout 2024, the band shared the stage with heavyweights like Filth, Heavy//Hitter, Sunmancer, Torn Soul, Violence System, Left To Suffer, Insomni, OmenKiller, The Guild, Give Me Oblivion, Spiritless, Of Ancients, and many other top-tier heavy bands.
