Savannah Maddison

Bio

Thank you so much for visiting my website! I would love to take a few moments to tell you about myself. My name is Savannah, and I am a 17-year-old singer and songwriter.

Performing is my passion, and has been since I was very young. William Shakespeare once said, “The world is a stage.” I wish that were true in a literal sense, because I am happiest when I am holding a microphone.

I love to write songs. I wrote my first song when I was 10, and haven’t stopped writing since. I love the way you can put anything you’re feeling at the moment onto a piece of paper using patterns of 26 letters and have it mean something amazing.

I play guitar and ukulele. These instruments have opened up endless possibilities for me in my writing. I believe that music is what feelings sound like.

I’ve always loved to read. Books have the ability to change your perspective and alter the way you think or feel. I have so many favorite books, but if I had to choose a few, I would say Love Aubrey, Paper Towns, The Fault in our Stars, and anything Amanda Hocking writes are at the top of my list.

Just a few random things…

I love fall and winter. I love the way that you can watch a person for one minute and learn 1000 new things about them. I love old books, and things that remind me of Christmas. I love listening to new music and going to the movies with my friends. I love fashion and technology. I always feel amazing after creating or trying new things. I love coffee in the mornings with extra whipped cream. I love theater. I love my best friends. I love New York City because everyone there is so different, and my friends there are amazing. I absolutely adore L.A., Park City, Nashville, and so many cities in between.I love exploring new places and meeting new people. I am adventurous, outgoing, and I love trying new things. Skiing, scuba diving, horseback riding, and dancing are some of my favorite activities.

At the end of the day, you can find me on the balcony of my bedroom, writing something new or rehearsing songs for an upcoming show. I am so blessed to say that music is my life, and I am able to spend every day doing what I love the most.

Thank you so much for spending your time reading this. It means so much!
