THE JOB
We are seeking a full-time, entry-level Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team here at The Masquerade. Ideal applicants should be highly self-motivated, able to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong time management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time – Entry Level
Pay Range: $18-21 / hour
The position is designed to be worked Monday – Friday during the day at the office at Underground Atlanta. The position is entry-level and best suited for recent college grads. Some limited weekend work is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Copywriting, scheduling, and publishing social media posts across platforms
- Owning and maintaining the social media content calendar
- Creating timely editorial and engagement-based social content around artists, trends, announcements, and cultural moments
- Monitoring artist releases, online trends, fan conversations, and performance analytics to inform content strategy
- Interacting with fans online and occasionally onsite at shows
- Website maintenance / adding and updating event listings
- Maintaining the photo archive
- Coordinating and maintaining Street Team efforts
- Keeping organized and up to speed in email communications
- Assisting artist teams and marketing management with campaigns and special projects
- Occasional errands and other duties as needed to support successful shows
REQUIREMENTS:
- A love for live music and concert culture
- Familiarity with music scenes, genres, and emerging artists
- Familiarity with The Masquerade and The Masquerade’s brand voice
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and internet culture
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media analytics
- Strong copywriting skills with excellent spelling, grammar, and attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and proactively rather than simply executing assigned tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrates self-sufficiency, initiative, openness to feedback, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize across a variety of projects

The Masquerade (Masquerade, Inc.) is a live music venue and concert promoter based in Atlanta, GA. Established in 1990, our venue is based at Underground Atlanta and spans across four stages. We promote 700+ shows and events each year within our own venue, throughout the city of Atlanta, and beyond.
