Tilian (Pearson) is a Florida-born singer, songwriter, guitarist and music producer. In 2007, he formed progressive rock outfit, ‘Tides Of Man’, with a group of hometown friends. The band’s debut album was released on Rise Records in 2008 preceding a relentless national touring schedule over the next two years and the release of a Sophomore album.

In 2010, Tilian and Tides parted ways. Soon after, Tilian began a string of writing sessions with several bands (Saosin, Emarosa, The Night Versus) trying to find a home that made sense. Tilian landed as lead singer for the post-hardcore sextet, ‘Dance Gavin Dance’, whose latest release Instant Gratification reached #1 on the Billboard alternative charts.

Since 2011, he has also been writing for his solo project ‘Tilian’ which includes the full length album Material Me (2013), and the Future Friends ep (2014). Tilian’s solo material infuses indie / alternative roots with strong pop melodies, and he was recently named Huffington Post’s ‘Top 20 Artists to Watch’.
