Palisades

Bio

Formed in 2011, Palisades are a post-hardcore band based out of Iselin, New Jersey. Channeling the melody and fury of bands like the Deftones into a crunching, breakdown-heavy sound, they don’t sacrifice accessibility in their pursuit of aggression. Made up of singer Louis Miceli, guitarists Xavier Adams, Matthew Marshall, and Earl Halsan, bassist Brandon Reese, and drummer Aaron Rosa, Palisades signed on with Rise Records before releasing their debut EP, I’m Not Dying Today, in 2012. The band returned the following year to make its first full-length outing with Outcasts, which debuted at number 181 on the Billboard Top 200 and soared to number seven on the Hot New Artists chart. A few shifts in personnel preceded the release of the band’s much-anticipated eponymous sophomore studio long-player, which arrived in January 2017, again via Rise.
