Peril Records is an Atlanta-based cassette label established in 2024 by Tommy Nguyen (Can’t Keep Up) and Andy Nguyen (Can’t Keep Up/Reason to Hate/City Violence). The mission of Peril Records:

(1) to support growing hardcore bands with the recognition they deserve, and

(2) to provide those bands with another source of merch income through our high-quality DIY cassette tapes.

Our releases are made by ourselves at our homes. Each release is mastered specifically for cassettes by Andy, using the same mixing and mastering softwares that is used in his studio production. The mastered audio is sent to Tommy for leveling to avoid clipping and ensure the best cassette playback quality, no matter the setup. Once the levels are established, the mastered audio are recorded on each tape one-by-one and quality controlled by Tommy. The recorded tapes are then sent to Andy to insert the self-designed J-Cards and labels, ready to be shipped to the bands and for sale on our online shop.
