Masquerade Musicians Showcase 2014

The Masquerade is excited to announce the 3rd annual Masquerade Musician’s Showcase & Competition! This is a special event where local bands compete for cash and prizes from businesses in support of local music and the music industry! Including (but not limited to) studio time, industry consultations, concert tickets, national opening spots, photo shoots, and much much more!
There are four rounds of preliminary competition:

August 2
August 9
and the FINAL is
August 23

The Georgia Flood

The Georgia Flood consists extremely talented group of musicians all graduating from the same high school in Henry County, Georgia. All three members have played in various bands throughout their musical careers, but no other project has the sound, style, or explosive musicality of brothers Brooks Mason on lead guitar and lead vocals, Lane Kelly on bass and back-up vocals.

The Georgia Flood has played on stages in Atlanta such as Northside Tavern, Fat Matt’s Rib Shack, Blind Willies, and 120 Tavern to name a few. They have also played in Milledgeville, Jackson, Newborn, Marietta, and all over Georgia. The for the New Year, The Georgia Flood represented The Atlanta Blues Society…

The Tempest

Drucker is an Alternative Pop/Rock Band from Atlanta, GA. Born from years of demos and solo recordings, now performing in venues throughout the Southeast. Drucker are supporting their current independent EP, “Flavor of Crazy”, and working on their soon-to-be-released LP, due out Summer 2014.

Corvus and Canis

Corvus and Canis is a band looking to spread their music to all. They love what they do and give 110% to every performance. CnC performs a range of genres from rock to a cafe acoustic sound. They play a wide variety of covers and plenty of powerful originals written by Abigail and strive for a sound that pleases ears of the listeners.

The name Corvus & Canis came from the relationship of Ravens and Wolves. Both animals rely on each other. The raven will caw to the wolf pack when they find prey so they both can eat. The two have been known to even play with each other. We see musicians and fans of music are the same way. We both rely on one another, musicians for fans to listen to…
