Sleeping Bear hit the scene in late 2014, making a huge splash with the immediate release of their single, “Anthem”. The song, which is an anthem for those who have lost someone, or are feeling lost themselves, truly embodies the band’s positive underlying message. As quickly as the band formed, it seemed they were falling apart. All of the original members, besides front-man Jay Rivera, had quit the band to pursue an “everyday life”. Instead of calling it quits, Jay set out to fill in the blanks with new dedicated members.
