Professor Toon is a Baltimore, MD native but Durham, NC is his home and refuge. Professor Toon had a rough start early in life. He was the subject of child abuse while being a witness to his mothe’s abusive marriage and subsequent divorce. After moving to NC with her to start over, he accumulated a history of life lessons that are the driving force behind his forceful writing and relentless live performance.

Professor Toon’s new tape ‘Fresh Water’ will be available in January. Fresh water will feature production from Nic Sanborn of Sylvan Esso/Made Of Oak.

Professor Toon has performed on the main stage of such festivals as MoogFest, Et Cultura and Hopscotch Music Festival. Professor Toon has shared the stage with the likes of Juicy J, GZA, Big KRIT, Lil Dicky and Danny Brown.
