Princesss

Bio

Rising from the sweaty, cheeto dusted underbelly of Gwinnett County GA, Princesss is the traditional American garage rock story. Five frustrated young men with a penchant for social deviance and low self-esteem began practicing in their guitarist’s mom’s basement during the waning summer of 2017. After becoming acquainted with one another within the confines of food service jobs, it only seemed like the natural and reasonably clichéd thing to do. In an ill advised attempt to overcome their existential dread, Alan Rainwater (lead vocals), Taylor Blun (guitars/ vocals), Jerry Kline (bass), Christian Harper (synths), and Colin Prentice (drums), all set themselves out on a mission to make music that would transcend the non-music they had so far been making together. All they needed now was a name. So they conceived a moniker that was almost loud enough to drown out all their screaming daddy issues combined. Princesss was born. After playing a succession of riotous house shows shortly after the band’s inception, they became convinced that they were prepared to fully insinuate themselves into the local Atlanta scene like a gang of unsolicited head
lice.
