‘Sploding into existence in the midst of the scorching ’04 summer rays of Tallahassee, Florida, Look Mexico instantly showcased just how sweaty they could get. Look Mexico is like sitting on the outside A/C unit with no shorts, fan yawning hotness to your undercarriage, as your friend sits in the house, lights off, wearing shades and giving you thumbs up. You can call it doodle pop, hippie punk, indie math, experimental emo, whatever you like. With two LP’s and four EP’s under their belts, countless North American tours, and one long jaunt over the pond, Look Mexico is road tested and buckled in for the long haul. The band is currently working on its third full length LP. Look Mexico is Matt Agrella, Ryan Slate, Ryan Smith, and Gary Battreall.
