Kyle Lucas

Bio

If it seems like Kyle Lucas is all over the place, it’s because he is.

A kid from Marietta, Georgia, Kyle was raised on a steady diet of Less Than Jake, Blink 182, and Coheed & Cambria.  However, like most kids growing up near the home of Outkast, Kyle couldn’t escape his love for hip-hop. At 15, Kyle began rapping and later found a way to blend his all-over-the-place taste in music. He formed Vonnegutt, a punk/hip hop/dance hybrid band that was quickly discovered and signed by Big Boi of Outkast to his Purple Ribbon Records Label.

Kyle didn’t stop there though, he has been earning a name for himself in the hip-hop scene for years with the release of several solo mixtapes including: It’s Always Sunny In Marietta 2, Purple Cloud Thoughts, two critically acclaimed EP’s with producer Captain Midnite, and many more. In that time he has made music with a who’s who of artists including: Big Boi of Outkast, Jonny Craig, T. Mills, Machine Gun Kelly, Hoodie Allen, Will Pugh of Cartel, Cassadee Pope of Hey Monday, Outasight, and many more. Touring the country with a plethora of artists including: Sammy Adams, G-Eazy, Jonny Craig, Chiddy Bang, Mod Sun, and more with stops along the way on The Vans Warped Tour, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival and even the Late Show with David Letterman.

2015 is a time of promise with the highly anticipated debut: “Marietta, Georgia: The Album” set for release as well as a steady solo touring schedule.

Yep, he’s all over the place.
