Electro-pop duo consisting of Cali Dixon, from Pittsburgh, and Gabe Neal, from Atlanta. Both were songwriters with solo careers when the two stumbled upon each other’s Instagrams. Quickly they felt a connection. In the summer of 2017 they embarked on a joint northeast tour that was cut off due to a serious car accident. During the months of recovery, they came to fully understand their musical and personal chemistry. Inspired by artists like Cheat Codes , Lauv and The Chainsmokers , they wrote constantly. Neal, growing up listening to sounds of John Mayer and Dixon growing up to the sounds of Ingrid Michaelson they combined their influences to create their upcoming music. Shortly thereafter they formed JST FRNDS.
