JAMES DURBIN is a Singer, Songwriter & Artist from Santa Cruz, California now residing in Nashville, TN. He finished in 4th place on Season 10 of American Idol. Since 2017 Durbin has held the place as Lead Singer of ’80’s Heavy Metal band QUIET RIOT. Living and working with high-functioning Autism as well as Tourette Syndrome, Durbin is an advocate & role model for individuals living & working with disabilities themselves. James continues his outreach having worked with organizations such as WWE, Autism Society of America, Autism Speaks, Autism Works Now, Tourette Syndrome Association, CARD-USF & Temple Grandin, PhD. “Just because I was diagnosed with ‘disabilities, that doesn’t disable me from living my dreams.” -James Durbin
DURBIN has worked alongside a growing list of legendary musicians and producers including: Stevie Wonder, Bob Babbitt of The Funk Brothers, Don Was, Zakk Wylde, Sheryl Crow, Tom Jones, Mick Mars, Steven Tyler, Judas Priest, Will.i.am, Jimmy Iovine, Marc Anthony, Sammy Hagar & Dave Grohl to name a few.
DURBIN has appeared & performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live with Regis and Kelly, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Durbin has also performed on Conan twice.
Having toured the world on the 49 date Idol’s Live Tour with sold out shows across the US, Canada & Philippines, landing shows & tours with Buckcherry, Evanescence, Drowning Pool, Steel Panther, Skid Row, Dee Snider, Warrant, Stryper, Dave Grohl, Rick Springfield, Chris Jericho, Tom Kiefer, Cheap Trick & many more, as well as performing for our nations troops in Kyrgyzstan, Durbin is grateful to continuously get to write, record, release & perform new music for his fans all across the world.
