Jake’s first breakout hit came in 2014 with “First Flight Home” which exceeded digital sales of 100,000. That same year, he released the single “Dazed and Confused” [feat. Travie McCoy] which impressively racked up over 19 million Spotify streams. In 2015 came Rumors, Jake’s critically acclaimed EP which shot to #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Albums Chart and was praised by AllMusic.com as “one of Jake’s best showcases”. His follow up EP, Overnight released in 2016 and included the hit single of the same name. The steamy music video has racked up over 1.2 million views to date and features Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles. Jake’s most recent album, 2:00am In LA released in June of 2017 and marked a new chapter for the ever-growing pop-star. Having parted ways with Warner Bros. Records in the Spring of 2017, Jake has been able to enjoy the benefits of having full autonomy over the production and distribution of his own music. The result? A project solely written, produced, recorded and released by Jake. The album debuted at #1 on the iTunes Pop Album Chart, placing ahead of pop heavyweights Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Harry Styles and Bruno Mars and its current lead single “Can’t Help Myself” continues to gain traction at top 40 radio. The song’s music video has amassed nearly 200,000 views to date since its release in October 2017.
Jake’s tours have taken him across the globe, playing to fans at packed theaters in the U.S. and Europe. In 2016 Jake made a run with acclaimed, multi-award winning girl group Fifth Harmony and he most recently wrapped his summer 2017 Back to the Start North American tour, which hit a number of major cities across the U.S. including San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia. Next up, Jake will make a second U.S. and European run in the Spring of 2018 to continue supporting 2:00am in LA.
