Heavy Cream formed in Nashville in 2009 and quickly became known for their raucous and fast live shows, with buzzsaw guitar work by Mimi Galbierz and Jessica McFarland’s snarling vocals. They released 2 albums, Danny (2010), produced by Jake Orralll of Jeff the Brotherhood/Vorhex Angel and Super Treatment (2012), produced by Ty Segall.  After they released Super Treatment the band took a hiatus from touring and eventually disbanded. They have emerged in 2025, with past members Teddy Minton (drums) and Olive Scibelli (bass) serving their pounding unanimity, sounding better than ever and bringing the same scorched earth energy to their live show that garnered them their cult status.
