Bio

Atlanta singer-songrwriter, Hannah Murphy brings an old soulful-folk vibe to the stage. Born and raised in Albany, Georgia, and inspired by the sounds of Alison Krauss, James taylor, and Joni Mitchell, small-town blues and fleetwood Mac-era classics helped this young performer transcend into a powerhouse songwriter with an energy that extends well beyond her years.

Less than ideal circumstances at the young age of thirteen prompted Ms. Murphy to pick up an old guitar that had been left behind years prior only to find that creating music brought healing and color to her life. Only after six short months the young musician began to play shows in any bars that catered to her young age. Since stepping onto the road of musical-righteousness she has since Performed in several famous venues such as The Blue Bird cafe, in Nashville and competed in several songwriting competitions around Atlanta.

The young artist is currently striving to re-release and self-produce music that she has written in the past along with new story-rich tunes that show her growth as a songwriter and performer.
