Bio

Based in Houston, Dillan Dostál has been obsessed with music from a very young age. Forming his first band at the age of 10, Dostál became recognized for his guitar playing skills and was active in numerous other local rock bands as he got older. The Drugstore Gypsies was his most notable endeavor which was a national-touring southern rock quintet that received considerable recognition and coverage in Rolling Stone.

Following the breakup of The Drugstore Gypsies, Dostál tried his hand at pop music with plans to perform solo as Starliner. The debut Starliner EP 20/20 was released right as the pandemic hit which practically shut down the live music industry and his plans to line up a tour. Dostál continued writing and started producing on his own, getting back to his rock n roll roots to make his newest music. His background in rock n roll combined with his love for strong melodies is what has shaped the sound of his new music.

Dillan Dostál released his first single, hard rock banger, “Better Than Yesterday” in February of 2023, following up with rock-pop anthem “Love Me” in March, and has plans to continue releasing new music frequently throughout 2023 and coming years.
