Crypt 24 is the brainchild of guitarist John Barton. In the summer of 2010 he started writing songs with dark lyrical themes and a morbid sense of humor in hopes to start a band that would combine his love of Rock & Roll and Horror Movies. Taking the name from Marilyn Monroe’s crypt number the band was born! After several line up and member changes they finally settled on a duo with Bryan Baker on drums. Baker a natural born drummer with a heavy handed drum style fit perfectly with Barton’s wailing guitar and death rattle vocals. The music they make is no frills cutting edge primal Punk and Rock & Roll,  Big loud and in your face roaring like the Frankenstein Monster!
