Brodie Fresh

Bio

Born and breed, Queens / Long Island Native, FRE$H has always been engulfed in music whether it be playing the drums for his father’s church or his high school Jazz/marching band. It wasn’t until his freshman year at the University of Hartford that FRE$H began experimenting with lyrics. Soon after he decided to give birth his music career fulltime. A major influence on that decision was the personal hardships in which he faced. Like many college students financial struggles struck it’s core and left FRE$H with no where to turn other than his music, which some would say was God’s will.

He’s gone from performing gospel rap songs at the tender age of five to touring the country doing what he loves. In just under 5 years, FRE$H has managed to open up for some of today’s top artists such as Kid Ink, Nipsey Hussle, Danny Brown and many more. In April of 2013 FRE$H’s single “Sound The Alarm” was featured on VH1’s “The Gossip Game” and received heavy rotation on Connecticut’s Hot 93.7. Soon after, FRE$H’s hard work caught the attention of After Platinum A&R who gave him the opportunity to tour the country with RCA’s King Los and YMCMB’s Cory Gunz for the summer of 2013. With all his early success, who would have thought this rising star had dreams of becoming a NBA player as a kid.

After wrapping up the summer tour, FRE$H returned to the studio on a mission. With a fresh mindset and many new lessons learned, he was ready to tell his story and take his career to new heights. In the summer of 2014 FRE$H released his 4th project entitled ‘False Triumph’ which has features from Troy Ave and Chinx Drugz just to name a few. His single “Bout That” featuring Troy Ave received a lot of attention from listeners across the East Coast. After flooding the internet and receiving recognition from some of today’s top blogs such as The Source, AllHipHop.com, HipHopSince1987 and many more “Bout That” was picking up rapidly. The record caught the ear of many DJ’s and PD’s throughout the east coast. Before he knew it “Bout That” was in rotation at eight radio stations from New York to Boston and oversees.

In the end FRE$H wants to inspire the masses through his music by spreading the message that with hard work all things are possible. He encourages individuals to pursue their dreams despite what others think or what their current situation might be.

FRE$H is set to release his 5th Project early 2016 entitled “FareWell”.
