Inspired by equal parts Indie Folk, Ska, punk, and whatever they listened to growing up, Ye Flask is trying to make a name for themselves in their home towns of Canton and Ball Ground Georgia. The band was formed as a two person acoustic duo of Andrew Lawson and Sean McFarland. After their high school band called it quits, and Sean’s girlfriend, Rachell moved up from Florida to play bass (and live with him too, or whatever), the now trio recruited Spencer Turner and Tracy Micheals from their former band to create the first line up of Ye Flask. The quintet recorded their demo EP “The Best We Could Do” over a span of a couple months in Andrew and Spencer’s bedrooms and played a few local shows. With the inclusion of Bari Sax player Daniel Tiggs, they are currently working to record their first full length album.
