Hailing from Jacksonville, AL, The Sunsets provide an energetic show like no other. With original material influenced by 1980s new wave rock, the band delivers a high-energy show with crisp synthesizers, driving guitars, explosive drums, and a roaring saxophone that is sure to get you off your feet.

The band consists of Torsten Dryden (lead vocals/synthesizer), Dan O’Donnell (saxophone/backing vocals), Breihan Dryden (drums), Allen Poore (bass), and Devin Gordy (guitar/backing vocals).

Established in 2015, the band has performed hundreds of shows in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana at various venues including clubs, festivals, conferences, restaurants, bars, houses, universities, and scuba diving parks. The band has also shared the stage with notable national acts such as She Wants Revenge, Alvarez Kings, Emarosa, and The Ataris.

The band recorded/mixed their debut album “Heartbeat Massacre” at The Sound Shelter in Nashville, TN under Brett R. Stewart. The album was mastered by Hans DeKline Mastering in Los Angeles, CA. “Heartbeat Massacre” provides an array of upbeat songs inspired by various events that occur as the sun falls and covers topics such as love, heartbreak, neon, vampires, and much more, encapsulated in a love letter to a long-lost decade.
